Campaign - not obvious on what you have to do at first, you're dropped in with no guidance (with in-game reason too). It's complex compared to other roguelikes - you need to setup an attack script (Attack, Block, Lunge, Riptose, and then set to High, Middle and Low), it's inventory system was complex compared to other roguelikes at the time (with an "up in the air" slot), and would have been close to Nethack or ADOM in terms of complexity if it continued. At least it could still be downloaded and restarted, but for a time I kind of lost track of the game. It's an open-source roguelike, but qualifies as abandonware because the development on it halted, with the latest version being DOS binaries. Most often, that's either a Strategy game or an RPG. To be complex, it needs plenty of controls, had a few levels of detail beyond the surface presented - and remain complex even for skilled players.
